TT55 is located in Sheikh Abd el-Qurna, part of the Theban Necropolis, It is the burial place of the Ancient Egyptian Vizier, Ramose. It has a main room originally containing 32 columns and a corridor with 8 columns. This tomb is notable for the high quality decorations in both the traditional and Amarna styles Ramose was an ancient Egyptian name, meaning "Born of Ra". Variants of the name include Ramesses (Ramessu) and Paramessu.these various spellings could be used to refer to the same person
